South Bass Island, or Put-in-Bay as it is commonly referred to, is located 3 miles north of Catawba Island on the
south shore of Lake Erie. The island is 3 miles long by 1 mile wide at the widest point. This historical island is
home to nation's third tallest monument, a great winery and vineyard, some unique and interesting shops, a variety of
restaurants and the best nightlife in the summer.
